We expect high standards from all our pupils in all areas of schoolwork, behaviour, and appearance. Pupils are required to always wear the school uniform as follows.

Blue and yellow plaid pinafore (made exactly as the design indicates)
Black shoes (no coloured strips or adornments)
Navy blue nylon socks (no ankle socks)
2 inch yellow ribbons (of the correct shade)

One pair of stud earrings may be used. This should be a tiny ‘knob’ in gold or silver. There should be no variations such as stars, leaves, flowers, etc. a watch with a dark brown or black band may also be worn.

This should be tidy and in a style suitable for school. Hair should not be coloured or dyed and no artificial braids or hair pieces should be added. Only two (2) clips, bubbles or other hair decorations are allowed.

Respect the property of others
Move around the school quietly without running or shouting or barging into others
Avoid bullying of any sort
Keep the school clean and tidy, clean up after lunch and other activities
Use a place mat every lunch time
Avoid fighting and kicking while at school
Work quietly and co-operatively without distracting others
Remember that they carry the good name of San Fernando Girls’ Government School when coming to and from school or when on a visit or school outing
Obey all school rules
